CC Holland
CC Holland is the CCO (chief content officer) and founder of C Squared Media. CC has specialized in digital content since 1996, when she began managing AOL chat communities for a magazine publisher. Since then she’s run a wide range of content strategy, content marketing, and brand content projects for clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
She started her professional life as a print journalist and has worked with a variety of notable magazines and newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle, as a reporter and editor.
She also has deep experience and expertise in marketing communications, brand development, social media, web content strategy, and user experience. Her management experience includes serving as a managing editor at CNET Networks, director of content strategy at WebEx, and SVP for brand marketing and digital media at Pacific Union.
CC has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for New Communications Research and the International Association of Business Communicators.
When CC isn’t knee-deep in content strategy, planning, and development, you’ll probably find her on the tennis courts, at the gym, or with her nose stuck in her Kindle.
